273rd POST. July 4, 2011 @ 12:30:00 AM
Hello! I'm back after such a long hiatus, without notice.I Anyway, I shall do a triple update today, and maybe, just maybe go on a hiatus again. Teehee. First entry - Prefect's Motivation Camp at Dr Campsite Second entry - Sport's Day Third Entry - Exhibition Day + 1Malaysia Run. So, here goes the first entry! I took part in the Prefect's Motivation camp on the 17th to 19 of June, at Dr Campsite, Hulu Langat. At first I dreaded to go, because I would miss my lovey dovey moments with my lappie. Okay, I know it sounds weird but, that's the truth. U MAD? :DDD But I don't know why and how I ended up getting so excited over the camp to the extend that I couldn't sleep the day before the camp. Call me stupid or whatever. Went to school on Friday as usual and later went back to my mummy's office to bathe and get everything ready. And I realized my luggage was freaking heavy just when I was about to leave. Great. I forgot the time that we're supposed to assemble in school, but I know I was late. I'm always late, couldn't help it. Teehee. ;) I was the leader of my group. Pressure much. Seriously, since the afternoon session-ers were joining us too. Had a small discussion for our group name. I think, if I'm not mistaken, Yi Cheng suggested 'WTF-Water the Flower'. Okay, LOL. Anyway, we ended up with the name Awesomest! :D We then got into the bus, and the journey took only about half an hour. Pretty quick, huh? We were told that we need to walk for some distance to reach the campsite. I was like, 'Whut! You have to be kidding'. It was super sunny and my luggage! To be frank, I almost died carrying my bag all the way to the camp. Not lying. On the way to the camp, we had to cross a bridge, and right under was a SUPER SUPER NICE river flowing through. I fell instantly in love, alright. The water is really clear and (looks) cooling. I saw a chicken on the way too. Very very interesting place, you got it. When we reached the camp, we were assembled at the hall-cum-canteen. It was a pretty small and stuffy place. Not that I mind, just describing. We were given a short briefing on the rules and everything. And seriously, my first impression on the facilitators there was pretty bad. I mean, we got scolded right after we reached there. One thing, boys are supposed to tuck in their shirts! OKAY, I FIND THAT SUPER FUNNY. BECAUSE THE BOYS LOOKED VERY VERY AMUSING! xD (Since there were a few facilitators, Imma name them with numbers, okay? ) Later, we chose our 'Penghulu' and 'Penghuluwati' which were Marcus and Deanna respectively, and we then had our afternoon tea. Since Deanna was chosen as the 'Penghuluwati', Derrick took her place as the leader instead. After that was the ice-breaking. Each group was give a piece of mahjong paper and a marker pen and we were supposed to create a slogan, cheer and a logo. And also, draw your idol on that piece of paper. So, as you can see, our idols are ourselves. Not being narcissist, okay. Just the concept of our group. THIS IS ME. WAHAHA :D Presented our 'piece of art', and one of the facilitators said he wanted our paper to show as an example. I knew it was a trick. LOL. I rejected, but in the midst of confusion, Yi Cheng handed the paper to the facilitator 1. *BOOM* In fact, all the groups gave their paper too. And all of us ended up being scolded, for not taking care of our stuff well. And, later he asked us to get out paper back, and of course the leaders scrambled to grab their stuff back. AGAIN, we were scolded. =/ Freaking, now it's even worst. We had to do push-ups. I was freaking pissed, really. After the activity ended, we were divided into respective dorms. No, wait. Since there were 63 girls and 47 boys, about 50 girls have to cram ourselves into a room, which is like smaller than our classrooms. The few other girls were really lucky to have another room all by themselves. The boys' dorm is right beside us. LOL. First time I've seen dorms of different sex situated so near to each other. Anyway, that dorm, only has TWO energy saving bulb and ONE ceiling. Okay, great. Totally speechless when I saw the room. Two bunk-beds were tied together to form one, and there's like 12 bunk beds with about 8 mattress on the floor. Phew. Janice, Elena, Yen Lu and me took the bottom bunk. It wasn't that crammed, actually. Mostly because the other three was skinny. We didn't have time for shower. Please don't say EEW. We were given only about 20 minutes to settle down and bathe. The bathroom, is like, one big tub and 5 super small individual toilets. We're not superheroes. WE DON'T HAVE TIME. ): And, please take note that there was another two schools with us there. We had our dinner, and the activities resumed. First up, was 'One Happy Family'. So, the task was to fit all your members in a newspaper. Of course you can cut it, dumb. :D Everyone succeeded except for one. And here come's the challenge. We now have to move with that newspaper strip around us, and get teacher's signature. Hell broke lose. Everyone screamed, shouted, and laughed so pretty darn loud. I think, everyone had fun, until we got scolded again. No, you didn't get it wrong. We got scolded again. This time because we did not have teamwork. According to him, even if your newspaper tore, you wouldn't disturb others but instead, lend them a hand. That's Teamwork. I was speechless. What he said was true. Even if we hadn't realize it. Second activity was to draw your face after twenty years, with the hand that you don't write with. Janice wrote 'Barbie Model' by the way. I haz skillz. LOL. I bet you can imagine what we drew. TROLOLOL. :D After completing your drawing, the papers were exchanged and we now have to write the person's occupation based on your friend's drawing. Funny things came out like 'Serial Raper', 'Beggar' and Ronnie's 'HIV Patient'. Facilitator Two told us that the activity is to tell us that we always have negative thoughts on others. Well, heck. He got us again. The last activity of the day was 'Dariku Untukmu'. So, this activity was actually a killer. Facilitator Two asked us to write anything you hate about any of our friends present there. Whatonearth. So, because I have no one to write to, Yvonne and I wrote to each other some funny stuff. LOL. And when we thought the activity ended, the Facilitator Two asked us to pass the paper to the friend you wrote about. Good job, boy. Most of us wrote to the Facilitator Two himself. After the activities, we had our supper and then headed back to the dorm to sleep. TO BE FRANK, I COULDN'T SLEEP AT ALL BECAUSE THE GIRLS OF THE NEXT BED KEEP ON SHAKING THE F*CKING BED. Woke up at FIVE in the morning on the following day to bathe. I don't wanna fight with the others or smell like crap the whole day. If you were there, you would be shocked by the way we bathe from the tub. We looked like ghosts, especially the long haired ones. Assembled at seven and did some morning exercise with the other two schools. Not before singing our respective school songs, and the national anthem. The exercise routine was pure fun. :D After the exercise was our breakfast, and then we went jungle trekking! Oh god, YAY YAY YAY YAY! :D The route was seriously fun. We slid down some area with our butts. Okay, I ran down. I didn't even know why I ran when I'm supposed to slide down. If they boys hadn't caught me, I would be dead already. Thank you, boys. You freaking saved my life. We had to cross a river, and I freaking fell down, and wet my whole body. Haha, funny right. Go ahead and laugh. =/ When we returned to our campsite, we ate again. Seriously, we ate about five to six times per day. After eating was the highlight of the whole camp, an activity called 'Rebut Kasih'. Facilitator Two put a stack of paper in the middle of the hall, and said, whoever couldn't get a paper at the activity will be punished. Just when Facilitator One blowed the whistle, most of them ran like maniacs to the papers. Some pushed, and everyone shouted. Woah. You know Pandemonium? That's exactly the way to describe the situation. I stood there, totally speechless. Suddenly, everyone seems to get into their senses and started throwing the papers back, saying that everyone should be punished together. It was a mess. That's when all of us got a terrible scolding, especially Deanna and Marcus. Facilitator One scolded us so badly and made Marcus and Deanna do 150 times of push ups. Actually, it wasn't just 150. It was more than that. Okay, I broke my promise with Janice and cried so hard when I saw Deanna and Marcus. How could he be that mean?! But still, he had his reasons for doing so. What he scolded us about was seriously true. We did the push ups together with them, for about 60 times? I'm not that sure. Was too absorbed to holding in my tears. =/ Later, we were allowed to discuss about our performance for the 'Malam Kebudayaan' later that night. Ideas poured in, and soon we had a rough sketch on everything. Before we had time to really practice our performance, we were dismissed for another activity. Kenji, Yen Lu, Dhakshayani and me volunteered to be the leader for that activity. We were supposed to give instructions to our mates who will be holding a huge rope and make a knot with it. It was pretty tough for them as there were so many of them. They couldn't let go of the rope and had to bear with all the disturbance. One thing is that, we were constantly sprayed with water (which was rather comfortable because it was freaking hot). LOL :D The facilitators told us that, if we couldn't finish our task, then the four of us would be sent back home. My eyes literally pop-ed out of their sockets when I heard that. Anyway, we succeeded. /freakingPROUD Had 'Game Stations' after the rope activity. The stations were pretty fun, too. Our first station, was the mud station. And when we finished what Facilitator One asked us to do, he told us we were tricked! WHAT! HE SPREAD SUCH A THICK LAYER OF MUD ON MY FACE, AND TOLD ME WE GOT CHEATED! Since I'm lazy Imma skip the other stations. There's nothing much to write about. Fine, I'm just lazy. Bathed and prepared for the 'Malam Kebudayaan'. 'Lucky' us, we were picked as the first group. WHY! Basically, to make it short, I throw away all my ego and etiquette whatsover for the performance. At least it wasn't as embarrassing as the one last year. 'Malam Kebudayaan' ended at about 2330, and therefore, it's time for the nightwalk. I don't really hate nightwalk if I were given a torchlight. But no, they took our torchlights away. And the thing is, they were gonna make us walk alone. I mean, ONE BY ONE. Great. Hey bro, I can't stand being in the dark alone, let alone walking at some place filled with trees, feeling awfully cold, and about to turn into a block of ice. I ended up asking Marcus for his jacket, and I looked like as if I have some wings or something. His jacket is oversized on me, alright. Better than nothing. ;D THANK YOU MARCY! :D I were one of the last to go for the walk. I loved the night sky too much, completely filled with stars. ♥ Well, I reached my destination completely safe and happy. The nightwalk ended at two in the morning, and we went back to our dorms to rest later. I think I slept like a dead pig. :x Woke up the following morning, feeling pretty sick. Had fever. Such a pain in the ass. I wanted to play! )': Rested in the dorm the whole morning, until it's time for the closing ceremony. Assembled at the hall for the last time for the closing ceremony. Everyone was hyper dancing around when the facilitators performed. The AJKs, teachers and facilitators gave their speeches. LMAO when Arthur read Vivian's speech (she went back earlier). He even mimicked the emoticon. Teehee. (; I will try to get the group photos and upload them here. Don't know if I could get them~ It rained so heavily when we were gonna leave. Delayed for more than half an hour. The bus I got into was pretty spacious as it was the last bus and only a few of us are in there. Only about 36 in a 44-people bus. Talk about being comfortable. Went hyper in the bus, and had a party. Deanna and I ate and talked about ghost stories the whole way back. I think everyone in the bus is asleep except Deanna and me. We're the hyper-human. Reached the school very very soon, feeling dead exhausted, and smelly. ROFL. That concludes the motivation camp. Had a lot of fun there, although there were a lot of sad moments too. Definitely one of the best camps I've ever been to. (; Signing off, adeline. | ||||
